Top-entry Industria 2601 35w SOX lantern (old photo)
In all my years of street lantern hunting, I have only ever seen one of these lanterns in person - they must be incredibly rare, especially in a SOX like this one. Note the lantern appears to be a bit "fatter" than the classic 2600 design. These types of old 1950's Concrete Utilities columns are also rather scarce these days. This lantern appears to have been a casual replacement for a damaged 35w GEC Z9581, as featured on most other columns in the estate, which themselves probably replaced older lanterns.

Interesting to see one of these! These would have made great replacements for worn out top entry SOX and mercury lanterns in the 2000's/10's, especially as they were also available in PL and SON.

Now I've never seen one of these in a top-entry variant before!
