That's quite cool. Does it have vents near the B22 cap?

Nice lamp and a fairly old one if it's 1992, I always thought the Dulux EL range looked pretty modern considering it came out in the 80's!

Indeed they were ahead of their time! This very same design (with minor changes) was basically used up until about 2010.

And they really did the hours, especially by the late 90's with the Dulux EL Longlife, rated 15k hours!

Now normally I am not a fan of reflector bulbs but this OSRAM open metal reflector is what I make an exception to, I RLY want some in my collection and apparently I saw them in a large gift shop in the Isle of Wight but I think they are now replaced with LED lighting sadly Sad

this was apparently back in 2014
