Thorn KSP London Line
This 'wafer thin' fitting was made as part of a modernist range of fluorescent fittings from Thorn. It was designed so the top part of the fitting would be invisible from all angles. These highly unusual fittings were never that popular, and to date i have never seen another example.
Ive had this fitting now for about 4 years, and its absolutely shot diffuser shows the many hours of use the fitting has achieved since first being installed in 1974. Here the fitting has its diffuser, revealing to great extent the nasty discolouration and (sadly) major damage. I will restore this when I can find (or replicate) another diffuser. If anyone can help me in the meantime, I would be extremely grateful

I do remember these from back along. They remind me of the slim American designs in twin 4' that have always been popular over there.

They made these in 8' too. I'd like to say I'm happy with this but I can't due to the knackered diffuser, so if anyone knows where I can get one, or at least a 6' single pop pack diffuser, please let me know.

Nearly 12 months on, another diffuser still hasn't shown up. I have now decided to replicate a new one, but I need help in finding a 6' Pop pack diffuser to cut the sides off, and then down to the correct depth. I then plan to take the two pieces to a local plastics company who have said they would be able to get me the bottom piece of plastic, and also weld the pieces and the end caps together.
