I remember buying something similar to this from a yard sale when I was a kid. It wasn't long before my mum found it and chucked it away and warning me about damaging my eyes!

Yes, this lamp produce much more UV-C radiation, the ozone smell is very strong. But I wonder why the arc tube is britain and the power cord is american?
