vintage circular fluorescent in my hallway
The first circular is up, this has nice clean S&B 40 w choke, has an old made in UK Micromark starter, & TCP 840 tube. The 2nd fitting has a S&B 65w choke, so was clearly meant for the 60w circulars & probably explains why the 40w tubes I got with it were so roasted, got a EKCO 40 watt ballast I am going to put in it as I dont have any 60w circulars, but quite a few 40w's.. So if anyone wants a S&B switch start 5 foot ballast (made in finland oddly) I'm happy to ship it out to you, I have no 5 foot tubes so it is no use to me.
The picture is not great, my phone does not cope with 50Hz flicker too well

Love these circular decorative fixtures - they beat the 'dish bowl' incandescent circular fixtures any time
