A|S Norlett Ambassador lit
Today was dry so I decided to light the massive Norlett Ambassador I saved a few days ago. Mercifully the old GEC Henley cutout is a split PME type, so it can still be used, but now merely as a fused connector box of sorts. I'm surprised at its condition, having not been in a damp column base its whole life its in immaculate condition.

I had to re-terminate the supply cable from the cutout, as it was cut upon removal. As I already knew it would, the lantern fired up beautifully, and ran up to full brightness extremely quickly.

As it happens, the lantern is still made, incredibly with HID options too, so the company will have a message sent in regards to the missing parts.

The lamps always been 150w SON, however I think it should be elliptical rather than tubular, so I need to source the correct lamp.
