AEG PLS
Here's a lantern not normally associated with the UK, being that its origins was in Europe. Its with massive thanks to James for this lantern. Its a AEG PLS, designed for two TL-X single pin 20w tubes. Its a very simple lantern, being designed to give a very slimline, streamlined appearance. In fact I'd say its thinner than some LED lanterns.

Its in very good condition for its age, however it had been crudely converted to mount to a catenary wire, as a result it has two holes drilled into its canopy. Its also been painted a shade of green, where originally it would have been grey.

Restoration will include filling in both holes, and then a complete respray back to factory colours. Whether I regear it to 240v control gear I don't know as of yet.
