NOS Thorn Gamma 5 and box
This i could not believe. On the 6'th March, the last day of a 2 week work experience at the local street lighting depot, i went to a different lighting depot about 30 miles away, and was allowed onto the roof of the offices (this was under the actual roof), where no one has stepped for years. I found what looked like a ratty box up there, upon opening it reveled this NOS Thorn Gamma 5 inside, so you can imagine my surprise and excitement. I came away with this and another NOS lantern. Sadly its missing the spigot adapter, so does anyone here have a 76mm spigot going spare?

Wonder what else is hiding in all these roof spaces, and old store rooms?

seen these long ago in the past, this is a 1980's version, the older ones had clear bowls

I'd have loved to have seen a clear bowl example, although I do like these bowls. Its just a pity It hasnt got the spigot adapter. Im absolutely desperate to find one now.

I have plans for my gamma 5 next year. Just need to find an engineering firm who will help me with my plans. I'd do it myself at work if I was allowed.
