Schreder (Urbis) Z1
A very uncommon lantern in the UK is this diminutive Schreder (Urbis) Z1 for 70w SON lamps, mainly sold in mainland Europe. I believe it to have been removed from a car park when it was downgraded to LED. Its been heavily used, corrosion is present on the body, and the bowl yellowed, but it is otherwise intact and in good condition. In service the gear had failed, but instead of removing that gear, it had Philips gear lashed on top and around the existing gear that was left. Owing to having a scrap ZX21 lantern, I decided to use the gear from that and return this lantern to as close as original condition gear wise. I'd like to source an unyellowed bowl, but my chances are very slim owing to the rarity of this lantern.

This ones going to need most of the canopy stripping back before I give it a full respray back to original grey colour.

There's a couple of them surviving in this alleyway.. One appears to have been casually replaced with an SGS 203 some time ago.
