Phosco P223
A fairly recent save from the Kinver area, a road lit exclusively by these Phosco P223's is now being downgraded to LED. A wildly different lantern to all the other SOX lanterns of the time, this lantern features clean lines broke by harsh angles which looked nothing like anything else of the time. There are 6 variants, three 35w and three 55w, so with this acquisition, it now completes the 35w range in the collection.

The lantern overall is in an incredible condition for its age. The original gasket is intact and good condition, and whilst the paint has been scorched slightly, it's only surface, so can be cleaned up. Externally flecks of its original paint remain, so hopefully I'll be able to replicate and return this lantern back to its factory condition with relative ease.

some of these were philips badged, gone one myself, think it was some joint agreement with philips and phosco at the time, eleco goldenrays GR150's also were badged at philips in the early 70's so seems it was a comon thing back in the 70's to share models under licence
