Marlin 1028T
Years and years ago I bought a bulkhead from a car boot for £1, however when I got it home and opened it, there was no internals. The black outer band on the base had also become damaged, but because of these missing internals, I just left it in my shed.

3 years ago I acquired the bulkhead you see here, however it had an opal cover. I decided this one was far too interesting to have languishing round, so duly swapped it to this instead. The design, whilst very modern, is based off the early Merchant Adventurers Trimline, designed in the 60's for a place in Yorkshire. Whilst this actually has Merchant Adventurers stamped into the base moulding, its now identified as Marlin.

The refractors on the cover are very tight, comprising of concentric rings all the way from edge to centre on the exterior, and refractors that fan out from the centre. Working together they work extremely well to break the shape of the 2D lamp up completely, and even making it look like theres two lamps fitted, obviously increasing light output. Its easily one of my most favourite 2D bulkheads right now.
