Coughtrie SFB32
A massive bulkhead by anyones terms, the SFB32 was made for 4 8w fluorescent tubes. To date, no other company make anything to compete. Coughtrie have since added more lamp options to this range of large SFB fittings, including three 11w PL's, two 18w PL's and even two 16w 2D lamps. I had been after one of these for 10 years now, after seeing some on my old primary school.

Bizarly enough i was working on a site a couple of weeks ago and one of these was coming out, i grabed it thinking it was 4 X 8W but it turned out to be 2 X 16w 2D i had never seen one in 2D before but too new to be of interest for me so in the skip im afraid.

Are these 4 separate chokes?, or a series circuit?

4 separate chokes. I'll take a pic of the gear when I next drag it out
