One electrics and ASD bulkhead conversions completed.
Both bought as 2D, the left one was HF, the right being SS. Due to the HF ballast, I decided to make a unique conversion to Circline. Originally it took a T9 tube, but in more recent times, I decided T5 would look better. Then the ASD bulkhead came along, and due to that looking so similar, and having enough spare parts to do so, I converted that also. I swapped the gear trays between the two so both examples looked tidy, lit or unlit.
I personally really like the opal bowl, as it hides the conversion well until its lit. But circline in a prismatic cover looks great also.
Both fittings when lit really throw some light out, which surprised me seeing that they technically arent as bright as 2D. I'm now making plans to install them both if the plans to build a lean to on the side of the house go ahead.
