Eurolux GY6.35 230V 50W halogen lamps at the bathroom at my father home

Despite generic (Eurolux is a local brand sticker, not a real lighting manufacturer), they lasts for years. I've seen one here that lasted 7 years(!).
Looks like mains voltage halogen capsules have longer life at base-up burning position compared to other positions.
