I don’t know?, from all the arc core photos I’ve seen this looks normal to me?

But if the lamp colour would be really orange like that of Colin and Ria, than you wouldn't see that white core of mercury.
The colour of this lamp for some reasons isn't orange but extra warm white with pinkish hue.

Update: I'm doing an experiment: I turned around the lamp so that the sodium is at the top part of the arc, so it would migrate to the exhaust tip. In the next time I would do this again so that the sodium would migrate back to its position when the tip pointing upward, so that the distribution of the liquid sodium would be even, not like in this. I hope that this would accelerate the colour stabilization.
Update 2: I turned around the lamp again so that the sodium is at the top part of the arc so it would migrate from the tip. The lamp in both cases, had oranger colour, but returned to extra warm white with pinkish hue after the migration.

Picture of the arctube after the experiment:

The liquid sodium distribution is better, but the colour of the light remains the same.

It basically like a White SON-T type of colour, although the colour should be of a deeper orange - defo the case of the mercury dosage being too much for the pressure that builds up

The sodium in this lamp takes long time to evaporate, compared to my Venture MH-DE 70W UVS PDX pink MH lamp.
Also: When this lamp hot restrikes, only the mercury lines appears in the spectrum.

Like how long does it take time to reach the stage where it is satisafactory orange colour?

I think so.
