These Chinese Osrams tended to have a VERY poor lifespan indeed!

I've an Osram Dulux S 9W/827 China CFL as a spare for my NISKO above my bed. I hope it would last.

I put a whole load of these Osram 10 & 13w PL-C lamps in an office building in March. I've already been back to change a number of them.

The 10W ones run very hot, and i would guess that the cathodes in them are the same as in the 13W - Not really up to the task to handle the higher current. I would expect that the 4 pin 10W ones on HF fair better. The 13W seem to be ok ish
