The arc of my Sylvania HSI-TD 70W/WDL

It have Na-Sc, like FrontSideBus Sylvania HSI-MP 150W 3K lamp.
For some unknown reason, the dose of the halides is so large in my lamp, that its hides the arc.

Let it run for a good few hours and then see if it the drops amalgamate together and drip down to the bottom.

, I’ve got some elliptical clear Ventures in 4000K, 150 watt, and these have hardly any halide dose in at all!, it’s a wonder they produce any colour!, but they all do Very Happy

The halide dose tends to expand when the lamp warms up and it melts.

Well I've had plenty of lamps with halides like this on the sidewall, and most of the time after a few good hours of running it all settles to the bottom.
