They should have gone for the Philips Trueforce elliptical LED filament bulbs that have the same coating and almost exact colour quality of an MH bulb - otherwise good job for not binning these fairly new lanterns

The Philips Trueforce lamp isn't imported to Israel.

That is a pity because it is the only one of the type of LED lamps that match the almost proper look of the HID ones, a lot better than the corncob ones which are not only ugly but an electrical shock hazard. I was thinking to get a corncob just for the sake of it but I decided not to risk getting electrocuted

In the HID retrofit corncob LED lamps, the LEDs and their wiring are exposed. Is this the cause of electric shock hazard from some corncob LED lamps?

The first example of the common LED retrofit lamps in Israel is the best one compared to the 2nd one as it has the closest look to the HID lamp. The electric shock hazard is a result of the exposed wiring and even the metallic casing could be also a shock hazard

And that all of the LEDs together, connected in series to 240Vrms, while the voltage splits across the LEDs.
The first example has replaced 250W MH lamps inside the three Cemdag Bosphorus lanterns and globe lanterns at Ein-Gev, before being replaced by crap NISKO LED lanterns, and Lug Avenina Lens LED postops.
LED lamps were also put inside local made bell lanterns for 150W SON-T lamps.

That is unsafe design cos what if the LED diodes fail and the splitting effect becomes useless, could also start a fire
