Since the incandescent lamp burning base-up, I would expect long life from it.

You can definitely see the perfect colour rendering from the incandescent, to the yellow of the CFL.

The yellow colour of the CFL, is also because of the white balance which I used (Sunlight) and because the plastic is slightly yellowed.
