Tiny Thorn? 24v emergency light

Given to me some time ago by a fellow collector, this tiny little Thorn incandescent fitting that had been used as an emergency light on a 24v system. Upon acquisition, corrosion had set in beneath the black paint, and internally someone had slapped on a very thick coat of yellowing gloss paint. The first thing I done was stripped it back to bare metal before painting it gloss white internally, and satin black externally, in what had to be the quickest and easiest restoration I've ever undertook.

The moment I was given it, I knew exactly where I was putting it. About 9 years ago, after my bedroom had been redecorated, I had installed a shelf above my TV and computer area. On that shelf I installed 3 halogen downlights, which as you can expect, are really rather glary and nothing special to look at. I removed the rightmost downlight and wired this light into its place. This now left me the problem of sourcing lamps, as I like to leave fittings as original and unaltered as possible, but 12v 20w lamps in SBC wasn't something I could find. A chance find on eBay was a SBC to G5 lamp holder adapter, meaning I could now fit regular halogen lamps.

Lighting it, the glass looks absolutely stunning with halogen behind it. I've always liked halogen for its crisp and clean light output, with a crystal glass of sorts, glare is pretty much eliminated. I'd now like to find at least one more of these fittings so I can return the lighting on the shelf to a more uniform looking setup.
