how rare is this one? found it in a derelict nightclub
Rare enough as I have never known of them with this cap lol
why is it a USA made tube in the uk? and how old is it?
Good question. I don't know. We need to get some of our American friends on here like Xmas light guy he should know stuff about this. In fact our friend james H might be able to fill you in on this one. But from what I've seen we've always had a Lot of American BLBs come in. I've got the GE ones

the club it came out of (now demolished) had been derelict since about 1997, it was well minging in there, found it behind the bar counter

Wish I could fill you in on it mate. It's a really nice find though and I'd put a rough guess on this being maybe 60s 70s as IMO American tubes always look more modern than they are

you recon that early? the packet doesent look that old, i would have thought early 90's, but have no idea really
Nice find, BLB tubes from the USA are quite common I've got a GE one also from B&Q (now closed)

I don't know mate I'm only saying that as American tubes always look more modern than they are. This is baring in mind I know nothing on u.s tubes lol
I'm not sure on this one I think it's fairly modern but still I've never seen one like this and it's a good find!

Interesting BLB end cap on this one. They used end cap for high output tubes on this one
