Ive been into a factory site this week thats under demolition, there are a number of grey sided atlas atlantic 3 fittings, black quickstart gear 8 foot twin 85 watt, dated from around 1968. I have removed this one as it was the only one low down, theres about 15 more very high up in a warehouse on lighting trunking, i recon 5 meters up. the demolition team can get them down for me using a scissor lift, but this will involve me paying them to get them down, not sure what this will be as of yet. and then i'd need something for my trouble too. is anyone on this site interestred in any of them? need firm concrete offeres here wise they will just stay there so speak soon as possible if anyone wants them. they look resonable, some light rusting to the white cover plates, the sides look ok, but not getting close up to them i carnt really say on exact condition. the buildings have not been derelict they have been in use, though the atlantics may have just sat up there for years without being used

Depends how much really

make me an offer, as a decent offer will secure one

Yeah but a decent offer like what though as I don’t wanna make you an offer that’s too low, or too high. I would want one, possibly two but it depends on the price. Also how I would get it / them as well as I can’t pick them up. I don’t know what your prepared to pay the guys to pull these down so I can’t really make an offer on one lol Wink

i'd be wanting £40 a light plus what they want which i dont know yet, the purpous of putting this up is to see how much interest there would bem as if there no interest at all i'l just leave them up there to get crushed

Yeah I think I might have to pass but I don’t really want to as I have wanted one of these years

I’m tempted on this as one of she Poundland stores I used to look after had these in I’d only pay a max of £50 though and I’d only want the one giving as these are so rare

they may work out cheaper than what ive said, all depends how many people on here want one to me making enquires about getting as many down as possible for a price.

I'm tempted too. Would need to be in fair condition and working at £50 though

like i say, if they dont want much to get them down then i can do em cheaper, just want to gauge how many people are serious about wanting these, as i know most people like to get things like this for free, but when your on private land and someone else has to even remove them, and it may not be easy as they are on trunking, i can see em wanting a tenner a light somehow

Can’t see them wanting £10 a light surely? Demo crews are usually happy with beer money or a crate of cans in my expierience . I got all that from the ever ready factories 2 years ago and they didn’t want anything, they even got a couple of the lads to come over and help, I gave them £10 each and we rammed the car full They were absolutely buzzing as they wanted rid of it and didn’t expect anything for their troubles. I would be happy at £40 for one but i would want it working and in as good condition as there is
