I salvaged this as a kid, it was in a huge internally lit 3 sided box sign, in a triangle shape, with a huge number 2 on each of the 3 sides, it was an old bottling hall line overhead number sign, found in a derelict bottling hall. Both tubes were smashed, but it was the first time i came accross 15 watt T12 tubes, the lampholders are T12 caps, a good instant start unit, dating from the 60's i recon, put into good use

Yes this is looking good proper black adaptable box glands and crimps too! Looks like something rich may do to lol. Quality old Transtar QS unit!

Living in the past me thinks this is why I like doing maintenance as all new installs are just cheap throwin in as quick as possible T+E shit some of the new installs are utter shit Phil! Rare you see anyone bother with galv even these days
