Cool QuickStart units! Looks like someone has wired a starter across one of them wonder why? I'd be tempted to remove that and see if it works?

Interesting how does it work? .. by that I mean: Are those just normal chokes like used for switch-start? and then the QuickStart unit in place of a starter?

yes, the quickstart unit acts as a starter switch, one has failed and i've wired a starter socket accross the output and it works again. Standard switch start chokes

@ xmaslightguy those Quick start unit are heating transformers, there kind of like rapid start in the US. But more lighting gear to wire up. I Wish US would of done this rapid start would of last way longer than tar filled ones.
