Production began in the 1950s and ended at the beginning of the 1970s.
This fixture was available with three lamp types at the start of production:
- incandescent lamps
- mercury vapour lamps
- U-shaped fluorescent tubes
These variants were reduced over the years. This fixture almost always had an opal glass bowl.
There were also versions with transparent glass, but these were rare. Today, these fixtures are extremely rare.
This example at Benneckenstein railway station is probably one of the very last and is not damaged.
