Christmas Lights 2015 Been waiting to get this set of 10 Festoon GLS lights up since I got them earlier this year! They compliment the 3 x 18w weather packs under the eaves. They are fitted with a blue, red and green Narva tube. I left the fluorescents in situ from last Christmas. I'm still thinking a Yellow 18w would look good on top of the bay roof.

Looks good just need 2 more above the bay window! A gold / yellow definitly! And another red or radar red

Thanks! Well I've been convinced, not that it took much! I don't quite have the confidence to leave the ladder and get onto the bay roof to be honest, if the ladder went a bit higher I would, that's why I haven't fitted lights to the overhang above the bay. But I'm happy to place a weatherpack up there to serve as an uplighter, should look quite good!

A Yellow/Gold would look good up there! (but I can't blame you for not wanting to get on that little bay window roof...looks a bit scary to me)

And: you need to buy the 'other half' of that house...just to decorate it LOL

Neat set up Rob, I use to have 2 sets of 10 festoons outside, with coloured pygmys in! Cool

The neighbour in the other house did jokingly ask me if I would mind carrying the lights on to their house! Would look amazing if they were both fitted out the same. Had considered using pygmy lamps, don't think they would seal in this set though. Ordered up a yellow fluorescent today to go on the bay roof. Shame about the SON street light situated right outside, its overpowered for a quiet road like this.
