Industria Libra 55w PL lantern Would love to be the owner of a 2 x 40w 2ft fluorescent street lantern but this will do for now. It's nice and bright! Seen here cleaned up and not come up bad at all. This will be installed outside somewhere if I can find a suitable bracket.

Get it on dusk to dawn rob! These are good and PL lamps have an epic life span! Longer than the ballast lol

As I can't post this on the other site as it contains a dreaded link.... ....In answer to your wanting a 2x40w lantern, these would convert well, as long as you don't mind the postage cost. That said, a genuine 2x40w lantern will set you back a hell of a lot more! (...)

One of the reasons I have particular fondness for 2x40w is that my road had them when I was a nipper. Thanks for the link Slyspark, too much for me right now.

Yeh that link thing a a pain we been trying to sort that with no luck. Yeah get this installed lol. These are the closest things we have to fluorescent street lighting and I quite like them now.

Yeah, the Libra is a smart looking lantern when post top fitted, pity we only have one of them in my town Confused
