It's on its 3rd lamp. The first one I think did around 5 years. The 2nd one was a dodgy Osram like Rich has where the outer envelope blackened after 12 months and became really dull. This one seems OK so far though. This pic here was taken when it had the crap lamp in it.

I think it was Philips. It hadn't failed completely, just the light output had depreciated.

Whats lamp No 3 Rob?, its a shame Philips didn`t do the PSG in 18watt Sad , this still looks great where it is, I just hope your replacements will be better than mine were!
