It practically is, which is why I saved it. I don't ordinarily go for compact fluorescent lanterns, but this was too good to miss out! In Europe, you could get these in SOX, as well as with louvres. Surprisingly, this lantern was designed in the 90s!

Oh wow it does look a lot more modern that the 90's, I'd have said that was a late 00's design! They do seem to like louvered lanterns in Europe, quite a clever idea to prevent unwanted light spill really.
