These are 18w Kev though would have been 20w in their original application. They are from the power car of a train known as Advanced passenger train that was developed as a tilting train in the 70s /early 80s by British rail, so are a bit special. It's now an exhibit at Crewe heritage centre. The battery pack in one of the power cars was no longer holding charge, so the guy who looks after it converted it to mains LED batterns. Bit of a shame in a way, but he is a volunteer and without him, the train would end up as a pile of rust as it's outside, so can't be too hard on him. Anyway I asked if they would sell me the original lights and they agreed! They are ideal for this application. I have the inverters aswell, but they run from 110v dc. They have the same lights in the passenger cars but they are recessed into a false ceiling.
