Ellesmere Port Civic hall installation.
This is the lighting in one of the rooms at the local Civic hall in Ellesmere Port. It was still there as of last year. The fittings are single Thorn Pop packs with prismatic diffusers. I would guess it to be the 1970s. Though I do think that it would look even better without the dome lights in the middle of each of the pannels.

Cool but I agree the dome lights aren’t really needed

I reckon these are pretty safe?, civic halls don’t get used as much now, I think our old community center still has its fluorescents?
