Very nice. The pink shade would lend a flattering hue to the surroundings. I don't know what he was complaining about. That choke style looks very familiar. I have an 80W version doing sterling service in a 2 x 40W 2' conversion.

I have an 80w Philips too! It was designed for use with a quick start transformer and 2 x 40w 2' tubes in a street lantern. Don't know what happend to the transformer I use the ballast with my 80 MBF Revo Diadem lantern now.
