GEC Toplite MBFR 125W
GEC Mercury reflector lamp with unusual shaped bulb.  While most companies made their MBFR 125W with the ordinary parabolic shape reflector bulbs from R125 incandescent, and as a result suffered poor beam control, GEC made a unique effort to optimise the shape of the bulb around the long mercury arc tube for superior optical control.  The black painted area around the cap is another unique touch, to avoid projecting an unsightly ring of light onto the ceiling above the lamps
