This old 1956 gear still looks and runs like brand new! What a quality find. I had to rewire the link between the cast cutout below with its PILC service and the control gear. It's a mammoth choke really for only a 125w lamp!

Even the gear box is dry inside Very Happy , capacitor look well for its age too!

they did a sodium ballast that was this style and shape, with the gold leaf lable like this, i have a couple in 140 watt size, BTH at rugby

The insulation tape would suggest it's been worked on within the last 20 odd years Shocked
