Will you see one of these through in the Arc? As I’d be very interested to see how one of these would last on photocell use ??
How come you are putting the piazzas to LED?
Yes, I’ve made a note in the book now, with this specific date, the first of a new year, this will be the last experiment the Arc gets! 20 years ago I wouldn’t have considered SON I over E, but I’ve now actually got more internal SON than external!, and it’s high time I have at least one discharge lamp in full time service again!, these Chinese Philips will be happy in here as the switching is done by Sangamo S251 through a contactor, so dark clouds and storms won’t initiate repeated starts and stops!

Kev, our Piazzas are f***ed now, and I can’t control failures like I can at home, when lamps go out they’re not immediately reported and 9 times out of 10 it’s usually smoked the ballast when I actually get told about them!, it’s easier to just throw a bog standard LED lamp in, and keep the good stuff for myself! I had one on Friday that was burning the lamp contacts away frying another ballast, can’t really afford to keep loosing SON ballasts at work now they’re rare, they would be better in my use

Good stash there now will keep the Arc going for a long time

As a bonus, I think I’ve got 3 German Osram NAV-E in the loft too?
They should still be lasting a decent time, i relamped one of the starlux at work today lamp i removed was a 2013 GE cycling like a bitch - banged a Philips in and it’s good again.

RESULT , I’ve just found 4 German Osrams up the loft, all SON-I
