It have couple of fittings on my bedroom ceiling. 4000k is what I use. I have never tried 6500k on my ceiling lights but I find the colour to be a bit “blue”.

I hate 6500K. Max i can stand is color 54 55 but triphosphors are awful. In triphosphor i usually hang around the 830-840 mark

Colour 54 is 6500k but not as bright as Triphosphor 865 which is the same colour temp. These 965 tubes are very nice though with excellent colour rendering.
