Very old recessed 20w T12 fluorescent fittings Spotted in the grounds of Northwick Park Hospital in London - I was very surprised to see these absolutely ancient 1970's fittings still running, which are obviously original to this building. Something nothing short of amazing is that most of them still had 4x 20w T12 tubes installed still!

Have to agree - If I'd seen this install with ALL of the diffusers intact, I'd have assumed SON. Guess they've just badly yellowed from decades of use. Still, nioce to see them hanging on in the age of 'rip it out ASAP for LED'. I wonder what control gear they run - might be QS if they're all T12!

Very nice to see such oldies still in service. They'd probably do another half century if the tubes were still available.
