Lighting in the new shed.
Little teaser for the last of my new sheds lighting, in what I've dubbed as the 'fluorescent lighting shed'. The original plan from the start was to have three sheds for each individual area of the collection. The first shed is the street lighting and associated equipment shed, and the second is my workshop come bulkhead display shed.

Every normal person would install only two fittings in a 6' by 8' shed. Not me though, I cram as many as I can into place, and in here I've somehow got 14 fittings installed. From left to right we have:
Thorn EMI FNDV2065 Invicible for two T12 tubes on Vivatronic start
Thorn Aquaforce, converted to SS cause its HF ballast died
B&Q branded 2X18w fitting
Fitzgerald 2X30w Lightpack with opal diffuser
Marlin weatherpack
Thorlux weatherpack
Thorn LUD R1065 Invincible, this time from the 70's for SRS gear
Thorn EMI LUV1058 Invincible
Philips FOR2X58 (legit model name btw)
Fitzgerald Eurowp
Some German 2X18w fitting, no idea on manufacturer
Fitzgerald 2X30w Lightpack with prismatic diffuser
Some cheapo weatherpack
Moorlite 2X58w from Daniel

They're switched on 3 separate circuits, and together they pull 1523w of power, or 6.62A, and believe me, its blindingly bright. At the time I took this pic, I was still waiting on the racking to arrive, so this would be one of the last opportunities I had to take a photo like this. That small gap at the top of the image will also have something installed in it, but that'll be an image for another time now.

If sunbed tubes could be used you'd get one hell of a suntan off them Wink
