Philips Master PL Electronic 5w CFL lamps I couldn't resist buying these on Ebay recently, since they are the smallest in the famous PL-Electronic range made by Philips, equivalent to a 25w incandescent lamp. These were made at the pinnacle of CFL production - look at that quoted lifespan, 15,000 hours!

I wonder why they went with this tube design rather than using a 5w PL tube like Osram did with their Dulux CFLs. Would be interesting to see how they compare.
