Outside lighting control hub
After years of using naff cells that would turn all your outside lighting on when a cloud went by!, I binned that system off for something much more reliable!
My Sangamo S251 time switch that retired street lighting engineer and friend Steve Larkin gave me when I was doing a project at school just before I left!, sometimes I wonder what this clock has run all its life?, probably mercury given the time it was removed! Anywho, my old friend went back into service on January 2015.

Nice.. sounds like you could do with some 10 or 20 lux cells!

Yeah, as I’ve never collected cells I’ve only ever used Zodion ones, these were never calibrated right and rain storms would trigger them! That’s why I went with an S251, you can fine tune them to how you want. Cool

I must admit I use a Combination of Wi-Fi switches part night photocells and all night photocells and I do think the Royce Thompson ones are the best even the yellow ones always seem good. The Wi-Fi switches have been running since 2017 I have however had a few fail, the one in my low 55w sox is dead at the minute, they just seem to lose Wi-Fi signal
