Philips Trueforce Core 17w
New line of LED retro fit that look like actual lamps!

This is a 17w at 2800 lumens for a 50w SON lamp. The good thing with these, they actually fit within a lantern, where most retro are bigger than the original lamp and don't always fit (such as this globe style lantern)

They have just finished development of the waste land at the bottom of Winsford industrial estate, this includes new street lighting fitted with 3000K LED lanterns from CRT, these look incredible at night, and like you say, their neither GLS or halide, it’s a colour all of its own Cool , and it looks like nothing I’ve seen in street lighting before!, I use to think 4000 was perfect for street lighting, but 3000 beats it hands down!

Good to know Smile makes me wonder if street lighting will bwcome more warmer?

Maybe we’ll start going back to the 2700K era of GLS?
Mrstreetlight   [20 Feb, 2022 at 05:32 PM]
I think so! Big question is will we see a come back in some form of new lanterns that are relampable?

As much as I’d love to see something like GECs Z5590 on Stanton’s 7A column, carrying 2700K LED filament lamps, no I don’t reckon it will ever go back to a lamp/lantern set up?
