Thorn 200w SLI/H Linear Sodium Lamp

The first low pressure sodium lamp to enter my collection. BNOS in box. Date code 59 which might be November 1978 if it's an ELMA code.

Not tested yet, I've just read that these will operate on a 150w HPS ballast with a manual starter?

I run mine on straight up Philips Son gear, saves splitting a gear set and messing about with starter switches Cool

Love these Smile I use a 150w son ballast and a Sox igniter. Not ideal.

Just noticed this is NOT a HO lamp, pretty rare to find a Thorn 200W in non HO form Smile should have the same style of cathodes as found on the GEC example "next" to it, rather then the beehive SOX cathodes of the HO type
