Odd looking LED Streetlights in Dunstable
Sure I recall a not dissimilar looking Holophane fitting existing back in the distant past...but these are some odd looking things. Found while spending the best part of an hour trying to escape from the car park the town centre turned into on Wednesday for some reason.

Anyone got an ID on these?

Only 12w these. I did save a handful along with the hardiest beta 5 induction

Can't give out a huge amount of light at only 12W, though probably enough for a quiet residential street I guess. The induction ones from out Cranfield way? Only place I recall seeing them. Were they actually new lanterns or retrofit jobs? Had always assumed they were retrofitted SOX lanterns as seeing induction lamps in such an old school style of fitting seemed so odd. Noted when out and about last week that out Steeple Claydon way there are *still* some open bowl mercury lanterns in service.

The induction Beta 5s and bigger lanterns were all brand new lanterns. Only retro fitted induction were the WRTL Arc 80s, which seem to all be 70w. I have couple examples of the Arc 80s and Beta 5 in my collection.
