GEC 3' gull wing.
Probably the worst condition fitting to ever enter my collection, the GEC 3' gull wing is pictured as first acquired 4 years ago. I have recently started a restoration on it, which involved wire brushing the metalwork back, and carefully filling and sanding each and every last place.
The reason its in such a sorry state is because its been in a building which became disused and eventually open to the elements in 1974. This however hasn't affected the electrics, which still work strong today, however approximately 45 years of damp has taken its toll. Still its hoped that I will be able to restore it back to factory new, the reason i was given it in the first place.
