Thorn EL-ATC/ATS runway approach lights. Seen here are the approach lights at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. These were installed in 2009 as part of a CAT3 ILS approach and landing upgrade. I believe they use a 22v 150w Pk30d halogen lamp.
