Hot little discharge tube! For its tiny arc gap, and 3 amp current, I can only guess at the heat and pressure in here when it’s running, the arc is so precise when viewed in very dark glasses, but these have a slightly different kelvin colour when run in different positions

Yeah I love these and Thorn's version!

These seemed to be more robustly built than the Arcstream, electrodes on the Arcstream would burn away with use, these didn’t do it due to the overwinds that Osram used
