Doesn't get much better. The MA is probably not original though. Probably would have had some big Eleco or Revo lantern. Other columns further along have those square G.E.C cutoff things.

nice. Don't see nothing like that here now. Used to be common here as well. Only few I know of now are the last remaining ones on the A19 but they wont be there long.

thats an old sleeve conversion, well not actually a sleeve, more an extension bracket to make a 8 meter concrete into a 10. its a tubeular steel pipe that drops down into the column shaft and theres a pyramid shaped sheet steel cone which covers the join, we had some round here years back, prob done very early 80's possible late 70's
