From the more traditional post top offerings to this very modern looking lantern. the Thorn Johanna 1 was a lantern designed in partnership with Jarnkonst, and nothing like it was made since. Featuring a glass dome protected by two decorative bands, light output primarily relies on the absolute behemoth of a canopy to reflect the light downwards. Interestingly a red band has been painted onto the glass, this further adding to the more decorative appeal of the lantern.

The lantern appears as unused, but rough storage hasn't been kind to it in the slightest, corrosion is present all over and a split in the canopy is also evident. Both will be remedied in due course.
