Ligman Columbus 2 70w SON: Gear.
Spotted a seller on eBay who seemed to be flogging various bollards in CFL, halide and SON flavours as ex-demo from a showroom.
My chances of ever getting a Cromptoon Chruchouse or Crownlight seems to be nil so I thought I may as well get a decent bollard while I still can to play with.
Decided to go for one of these Ligman Columbus 2's in sliver finish which looks quite nice tbh.

Control gear is standard Vossloh-Schwabe fare and interestingly has taps for 220-230v and is wired for 220.
I'm not sure that would like my 250v mains so I may re-gear this with a Philips 50/70w choke if I decide to install this somewhere...

Neat idea than having the gear board mounted.
