I know, Andy. I never thought I'd ever see a switchstart version, let alone own one. It's running an old Atlas Warm White at the moment.

Yes Rich, the fitting came from you. It's cleaned up really well with detergent, elbow grease and a thumb nail on stubborn emulsion paint deposits. The tube is a pristine NOS example from Kev

I cocked up there, ended up selling ALL the ones I had and neglected to keep one for myself, subsequently got myself a box of the correct starters, only to find I didn't have a fitting for them any more. Still, don't own any 50w tubes either, so there we go.... Maybe I'll find another one some day?
